The RE/MAX network has reached a new milestone by celebrating the 7,000 offices mark – just two years after hitting 6,000 offices in 2005.

 

RE/MAX International President Vinnie Tracey said realising 7,000 offices proved once again that the RE/MAX system worked no matter what market conditions prevailed.

 

“Real estate professionals in droves are continuing to cast their future with our network,” he said.

 

Growing by 268 franchise sales worldwide from January to July this year, RE/MAX has already seen more than 200 new offices opened across 37 nations so far in 2007.

 

Topping the list was the United States and Canada with a combined total of 60 new offices opened.

 

Outside this region, Germany had the highest number of office openings (13) followed by Spain (10) and the Czech Republic (9).

Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Portugal and South Africa all have opened eight new offices each while seven more are now operating in Turkey.

The RE/MAX International network has reached 120,729 sales associates working in more than 65 countries.
